Andy, aren't you concerned with doing a lengthy stop over with ALL your luggage? We're looking at a beach stop over to relax for a bit on our way but we're thinking, 3 large suitcase, car seat, buggy, hand luggage.... Is it possible? am i flapping over nothing? Can you tell we've never travelled with our little one before, let alone this kind of journey! ha Sam

Thanks Tania, we'll be heading NOR for the same reasons. OH was site management but he's still hands on so working on site wont put him off. It'll be short term hopefully as he's planning on setting up his own 'gang'. His attitude is 'do what i have to do before doing what i want to do'! ha

Hi Flutterbye, We went to Manchester Bridgewater Hospital (Dr Smith) who were great. £260 for an adult inc bloods and x-ray and under 11s (i think) was £75 or was it £95? ha. Something like that. They were fab though especially with my little girl Look them up, Medigration Bridgewater Hospital, If they dont have the price list on their website, give them a bell, they're very helpful. Police checks in July were £35, unless they'e gone up like everything else Good luck with everything

Hi Kat, What are you worrying about !? ha. Seriously, take a deep breath and break it down; Party: you didnt organise it so let them responsible finalise it or tell them what you want doing, im sure they'll understand you have other more important stuff to plan (except your outfit, got to look good girl !) Car: Write out quick advert and put in paper/work notice board/e-bay where ever and leave it to sell itself, done. Goodbyes: im guessing most will be done at the party? as for family/close friends you do still have evenings/weekends and the last week before you go and let them come and see you if it makes it easier. Loads of time What else..... nope... think that was it. Easy Okay maybe not that straight forward but im sure you'll fit it all in and it wont be as bad as you're imagining. Yep its rubbish what happened over your holidays but there's nothing you can do about it now. Keep smiling your adventure starts soon x

Hi Sean, Im sure there are plenty up and down the coast but i do know there is one in Scarborough. Last time i was there there were hundreds surfing, it was amazing!

We're staying with family friends in Ellenbrook when we arrive so we'll be doing the rounds, seeing what areas we like. Its so hard to tell what the places are like by looking on line. Mandy, what is Wanneroo like? You seem to get a lot more for your money there. This rings alarm bells though, is it a bad/dodgy area? I suppose we'll find out soon enough though
