Sorry to hear they couldn't open up the file, but at least you know you are very very very close! How long after your SS was approved did your invite come? and when did you lodge the visa application? We feel so relieved, as you say its a step in the right direction. We had our State Sponsorship approved today. We submitted on 24th April and approved on 17th May. So 23 days (16 working days). Good luck everyone with your applications.

WA State Sponsorship approved today!!!! Just had an email from agent, signed the agreement and returned. Wow what a weight off our shoulders. Hopefully the invite on the EOI will be quick and we can get the 190 Visa application in. We are so relieved! Its going to be a good weekend. Hope everyone else has some good news soon. The waiting game is horrible I agree, were waiting for State Sponsorship too. Our agent submitted it on 24th April. So that's 15 working days now. How long has it taken others? Or how long have you been waiting? Good luck everyone.

You need to work out your points advice. If you are under then the IELTS can boost the score. It is my understanding pretty much everyone needs an IELTS test. I did the general training and came out with an overall 9.0. I was shocked, as i was very nervous and thought I had messed up the speaking part. Just practice with the practice materials on the website and get into the IELTS way of thinking and you should be ok. Answer the questions asked and dont go to far off topic. keep it simple and prove you understand the question and answer it in a clear and informative way. good luck to everyone.

Our migration agent submitted ours on 24th April. We haven't had a response yet. Although it was a bank holiday over there on the 25th April for ANZAC Day. The application fee left my account pretty much instantly, although this is probably automated and has no significant indication on the processing time. So it has been 18 days but 11 working days. I emailed WA just to check the application was received and being processed and had a generic email back saying my application is being processed and it can take up to 30 days as the website suggests. I am hoping we don't have to provide any further information as the things I have read on here that people have been asked for we have already covered. All we can do is wait. The actual 190 visa application can be 6 months so if 30 days its torturous that will be hell! I will update when we have a response. We just keep telling ourselves it will all be worth it in the end! Good luck everyone.
