Hey just a query , our two kids are on medication here in the UK ( nothing major ).............. However this is available free with prescription on nhs .

Just wondering is this covered in health insurance as i presume you insure whole family ???? And would it effect costs of insurance ?

cheers

Prescriptions aren't free. If your family take/have a lot of medications there is a PBS safety net which once you reach a certain amount you are then charged a minimal amount. For non health care card holders the threshold is quite high really (and you'd need to be on a lot of meds).

I don't know if health insurance covers prescriptions, mine certainly doesn't.
