Hillarys/Sorrento is nice and not too far out. I'm starting to spend a bit more time south these days but don't know it very well. Rossmoyne Posted September 12, 2017 Report Share Posted September 12, 2017 Working in the CBD if you were based in Bull Creek, Willetton, Leeming, Bateman, you would be close to the train line and that would make commuting a lot easier. All schools in this area are good, but if you are thinking about high school in the future, Willetton SHS and Rossmoyne SHS consistently are the best schools in the southern suburbs, with Leeming SHS also highly thought of. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its a lovely suburb and the high school and Rostrata primary school are both very good. Yes, house prices are high but we enjoy living so close to the city, beaches, hills and Fremantle. We are renting for the foreseeable until we can either afford to buy here or until the youngest has finished school and we can buy somewhere cheaper. If you are considering living further away think carefully about whether you would enjoy the longer commute on a busy train in the high 30s if your planning on getting the train in. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Youngest's school went into lockdown, they had to hide under desks and turn the lights off - all precautionary though. Made the day a bit more interesting!
