if you were in helena valley there is , st anthonys in greenmount , for high school there is la salle college in midland , in kalamunda you have kalamunda high , or privately there is a catholic primary , and then mazenod for high school boys and st brigids for girls in lesmurdie , i think carmel christian high school would also service those in that area

i have no idea how small the new builds in helena valley are , i bought my block in 97 i think it was 1050sm the older blocks out of the estate were bigger at the time , cant beleive the block size in west swan are around 340/ to 480 sqm you cant swing a cat .
-
jane brook is really swan view , its close to the john forrest national park , your nearest shops would be morrison rd or the small swan view shopping centre , if you were after restaurants you could go into midland , or 5 mins further into guildford , and your not all that far from the swan valley. greenmount and swan view are close 5 mins apart really so your looking at the same area , be aware that guildford and greenmount are under the flight path and you can count the rivettes on the planes some days . helena valley is nice i bought a block there years ago , there is the private estate and there are the outer lying blocks of helena valley , i beleive there is a small shopping centre there now , again you can get to midland in minutes from helena valley , boya is also nice tends to be the forgotten suburb . i lived around these parts for years , but ended up moving near the ocean for the cooler weather in the summer [ the heat kills me ** check out darlington nice little village like atmosphere ,also look at glen forrest , neither of them are that far from greenmount hill.

What age are you/did you move to Perth?
moirclan replied to Russ and claire :)'s topic in News & Chat
i was 21 when i moved here , bit of a culture shock when i arrived as i remember , [ my youngest is 21 now how years fly ] came out here through my hairdessing trade , and still working @#$%^ -
if your by the river in bassendean it will be expensive , but there are some nice houses in a lovely location near the river , woodbridge [ west midland is also nice and not quite the prices of guildford which is the next suburb , i like east guildford it has a lot of character , went to a nice little tapas restaurant there a couple of months ago , but its not a cheap place to find a house and it is on the flight path as is greenmount , the other week i was at greemount and i thought a plane was going to take the top of the house off i had forgotten how low they fly when coming into land
-
greenmount is nice , so is helena valley ,take a look at boya , woodbridge which was west midland has some lovely houses , there is small pocket that borders guildford called hazelmere as well, the desirable part of guildford is east guildford they have some great charecter houses however it is on a the flight path for a lot of planes and they fly do low you can count the rivets on the planes . there are some nice places in viveash by the river as well

Among Perth's top private schools, Hale School hiked its fees by 8 per cent to $17,820 while Christ Church Grammar's rose 7 per cent to $18,800. Guildford Grammar lifted its fees by 6.1 per cent to $15,725 and Presbyterian Ladies College Perth increased fees by 7 per cent to $18,648. this info is three years old or do you mean religous schools ? i used to pay about three grand a year each child but again thats several years ago now , the only primary schools i know of in oceanreef are Beaumaris primary , Oceanreef primary , and ST Simon Peter catholic school which is a fee paying religous school

one of the few salons that used to sponser was volonas you could inquire with them , ill be honest there used to be loads of jobs advertised a couple of years back hairdressers were in shortage , and they could dictate what hours etc conditions they wanted thats not the case any more , there are jobs out there and there are hairdressers to fill them ,so it not going to be an easy exercise for you good luck xx
