i am also curious in the answer to your question Roxy as i have a two year old who has never been to a nursery here yet as we thought we would wait until we arrived in perth rather than starting her here then uprooting her. She definitely needs to go though to mix with children here own age ( her siblings are 9 and 5)

thanks for all the replies. I haven't yet got the details to log in but I am going to ask for these monday. Agent is out of office from 6th sept until 23rd so I want to be able to see things for myself! I have already had the PCC done in june so dates for meds make no difference to us and we are literally ready to go....we just need the visa and can book the flights the same day. We have been preparing for this for months now and as we are here without hubby/hubby there without us, we want to do whatever we can ahead of them so literally all we are waiting for is the golden email -
did you just use TRN number or did you need to do something on the application? as we have an agent, I can't look for myself but I am going to ask for the password to get on and have a look

Thank you! It is as though the agent is trying to slow us down on purpose! Hopefully we will get it sorted....x -

Hi, was wondering if anyone can help? submitted 190 21/08/2013 and i want to book meds for myself and three kids before they have to go back to school (save having another day off when they have just had 6 weeks off!) but our agent advised us to wait as he said CO could ask you get them done again if after 2months coz they are only valid for 2 months...has anyone else had meds done before CO request etc. any advice appreciated....

hiya, my husband is doing carpentry and he got a job through a friend of a friend of a friend. before that, he had trawled around various building sites and went to recruitment agencies and handed in his cv. work is available out there, just tell hubby to be persistent, offer a weeks free trial etc. good luck my hubby has been out there 12 weeks already on a WHV and we are hoping our pr comes through quickly so we can all be back together again as our kids are missing him terribly as am i i am glad we have done it this way though because how bad would it be to move out there as a family and be out of work for months. stick at it and stay strong

i don't work no and they were fine with it! hubby is a carpenter
-
hiya. my husband is currently in perth, having been there 12 weeks already. He went out ahead to seek employment and has done that we are hoping to get our pr visa through soon so we can join him. he is on WHV and i am entitled to tax credits here as they class me as a lone parent due to hubby been outside of UK. just give them a ring and they will set you straight

My husband did his tech interview for carpentry in Perth about a month ago. He was unsuccessful first time so had to do it again but has passed now thank goodness. He said they don't call it technical for nothing! Whatever they ask you, go into as much detail as possible as that's what he didn't do first time around. Make sure you know about health and safety and what procedures they do over there and you will be fine good luck

we had or invite to apply for 190 yesterday....same day WA received the signed declaration from us accepting the SS

if you mean your positive skills assessment, you can submit EOI and use the email you receive as we did....you only need a number off it.
