<Dan>
I have found myself, searching the internet and finding as much info as I can regarding the boat and port our container should be going through. I have found where our container is in Felixstowe, also, where the container is currently and the next port (Singapore, which is a lot smaller than you think). I think im getting far too much in to this tracking stuff....

Guest Guest6235
I'm always surprised how high they stack them on those ships, the amount of hammer the ship must take from the ocean. When ours is shipped I'll be concerned about that and pirates lol
gazza18
Ours is on the MSC Faustina currently docked in Malaysia Gaz

Hopeful
Hi hopeful, how's it going? Hi Keefo getting settled and sorted thankyou. Moved into long term rental last week which is perfect, was harder to get the right one than we thought it would be, 10 mins from work, 5 mins from school for Kieran. He starts Tuesday, work going well, not done much exploring and sicialising as yet though as was straight into work and living near the city so long days travelling, now getting settled hope to get out and meet people. Container due to be delivered Tuesday so that will be great to have our stuff, also ordered a car which hopefully may be delivered tues too so all coming together. How are you doing? What's your time scale? Brough still sunny?? Nicky
Guest Guest6235
Sounds all good your end then. We're having sessions throwing stuff out now before shippers come 11th Nov, then we'll be living with my parents until 26th Dec, should be interesting. We fly late that day. Brough still as sunny as ever!!! Edited October 12, 2014 by Guest6235
<Dan>
An update on the location of our Container as I have been asked It left the UK late on Saturday night and went to Belgium, so it only actually set off late Sunday night. Last night was about the only excitement of the journey which was when it entered the Suez Canal. Its now out of the Suez Canal and on its way to Singapore. Regarding the tracking. Its mostly tracked. It lost signal by the Bay of Biscay for around 12 hours. Then its patchy around the bottom of the Med and the Suez Canal. I have found two websites that track, although a free app called FindShip seems to have more chance tracking it, although less information. The container arrived in Singapore on the 1st and sits there for a week, i'm guessing on the dock before changing to a smaller ship. She's supposed to arrive on the 15th in Fremantle. Which is good as we fly on the 19th, arrive on the 20th and our B&B runs out on the 5th / 12th December depending on house hunting. All things going to plan, the container should be ready for delivery from the 25th onwards. I will keep you informed.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 Using Doree Bonner, it was picked up from our house on the 7th, left the UK on the 11th via Belgium (left on the 12th), will be in Singapore on the 1st where it will stay for 7 days and should arrive on the 15th in Perth. They allow 3 - 10 days I think for AQIS so worst case arrives on the 25th November. So, 7 weeks door to door! which seems very very fast as people say 8 - 10 weeks plus customs. Guest Guest6235
Company come to collect our container on Tuesday, did you feel like a spare part all day? I'm hoping they have it done by mid afternoon, apparently arriving around 9am.
<Dan>
Company come to collect our container on Tuesday, did you feel like a spare part all day? I'm hoping they have it done by mid afternoon, apparently arriving around 9am. Very much so, couldn't do much to help with anything. Except make tea and coffee. On another note, our container left Singapore last night, and sat just outisde where it has been anchored up since.
<Dan>
And the Container is still sat anchored up. So its currently got 50 hours to get to Fremantle.

<Dan>
Looking at my map, it should only take about 2.5 days to sail so I'm guessing anytime now to leave.
