Trav1
After 2 years if talking about it we finally arrived in Perth yesterday! Feels a little weird seeing all places I used to read about. Did our TFNs, sorted mobiles and done a small food shop, going to look at finding jobs Monday, so thought we would enjoy the weekend, anyone already here have any suggestions for something fun to do for the 2 of us that would get us out and about whilst battling jet lag? ali
Welcome to Perth. If the weather is nice, you probably still need to chill out after your travels (and a busy first day by the sounds of it). Why not head to Hilarys for lunch or take a picnic to Kings Park if it's nice
Redsquare
Congrats on making it over. Not sure where you're staying but there's a boat show on in Mandurah this weekend. If you're NOR it might be too far. Hillarys is nice as is Mindarie. Wherever you are, I'd suggest watching the sun set over the ocean, it's beautiful. Busy Lizzy
Good for you! It doesn't seem real when you finally get here does it? It was such a massive move, I was so relieved to land with 30kg of luggage + 7kg hand luggage for each of the 4 of us!We love Kings Park. The Red bus open air tour takes you all round the city, and you can hop on an off, this includes Kings Park.Whatever you do I hope you have a great time and welcome to Perth. dxboz
Don't know where you are located but if it is not too far why not spend the day in Fremantle. The market is on today and always loads of buskers outside it. There are also lots of great bars/cafes for lunch. Fishing Boat Harbour - you can sit outside by the water and have fish and chips. Also at the harbour is Little Creatures pub - walk right through to the back and you can sit and have a drink facing the ocean.
