We could do with all being on facebook and get in a group chat so everyone sees the messages and can arrange something with everyone then rather than different things going on?? Living in ridgewood and really want to meet some people! It's very daunting moving from the UK, leaving a big network of people behind to having no one here! I am a FIFO wife with a 5 year old daughter and another on the way (due Feb) things have been a little daunting to say the least, but I am a very chilled person! We are due to move to Atwell SOR the last week of November and am looking for some new friends too. As many of you have said, need to replace the friends left behind in the UK! My partner and I moved here a few months back and have been so busy settling in and sorting ourselves out we've not had chance to meet too many mates. Have a huge network of girlfriends back home so figure I'd best start making some here too! I'm 23 and got my PR. would be keen to meet up with some like minded girls for coffee, lunch, drinks etc. Living in Wembley but happy to meet up wherever. I know what you mean about friends at home and wanting to make new ones here. I started to meet new people from PP about a month ago and its the best thing I could have done. Its like the final piece of the puzzle in feeling settled and we all are in the same situation too, which makes it much easier to start new friendships.
