We've been here in the Rockingham area for nearly two years and have found it so hard to make any friends. It's lucky we like each other!! Anyone fancy a pint some time? Hi we arrive 13th April we will be relatives in byford at the beginning but would love to meet up as we are hoping to rent in rockingham. That's such a shame but I imagine it can be difficult. We moved here May last year and luckily for us we've made loads of friends through Rockingham Swimming Club and Secret Harbour SLSC. It's easier if you have kids but then you can still get involved even if you don't; they have 'parent' swim training and volunteer rescue. Fantastic! Are you having much luck with viewers? We lost our buyer two weeks before we moved over, so still have a house back home that's rented out. I think it may have been a lot easier if the kids had been of school age But we're hoping that sooner or later things will start coming together.
