Musical Advise for moving to Perth

This is a very honest post from someone from Perth who has lived in the UK (especially the awesome city of Edinburgh) for the last 9 years, that an appreciation of Australian music will definitely help adapting to the Aussie lifestyle. An important part of this transition is that Boy bands / Girls bands have never been a part of Aussie lifestyle (lets face it no one likes Justin Beiber ... well anyone over the age of 12 at least).

In Perth 96fm is a popular radio station, and what great about it is that its play list hasnt really changed since the late 80's. And it is about the best ime for Aussie bands.

Take a look on Youtube at

Top Tracks for Cold Chisel

Plus also look up

Men at Work - top tracks

Down under in particular is pretty much the second official national anthem

I love that fact its an era where bands actually play instruments.

I'm also a great fan of Mumford and Sons .. excellent band.
