Finally the wait is over and we have our flights booked for May13th and we get to start our new life down under a bit later than planned. Haven't been on here for a while with all the madness that's been going on so hope your all ok and I'm glad to be back Xxx

There is a duty free after passport control last time we went you were allowed 4 items each but that was a 4 years ago not sure if it's changed

We are looking to move to Secret Harbour OH is working in Kwinnia Beach (not sure how you spell it ha) near rockingham I need to find a school for my 16 nearly 17 year old daughter and comet bay looks nice and heard its ok Waiting to see if I can get her in there. Where about's are you moving to?

I am in the same boat have no feeling off what im gonna be like when I say the goodbyes but I know I am excited to be going. I keep getting cant believe your leaving your friend she will be lost when your gone ( i dont think so she has 3 kids she is a nana and has a job and other friends) im sure she will be fine hahaha. I am hoping house completion is on the 1st April and hoping to get flights booked for the 18/19th April :-) This next 2 weeks is goona be crazy as container still not booked and i want it here for the 30th Lets hope OH works get a shift on Good luck with everything

Congratulations on getting your visa wooohoooo. Sorry about your wife, I have felt that pain many times in the last 3 months and this weekend being mothers day the phone call with her this morning she said this will be our last mothers day together (yes i cried for a good hour) Im sure she will come round give her a big hug and talk it through with her Good luck with everything

She is ok about going back to school just so she gets to meet new friends. I'm in the process now off trying to find out where is best for her to go comet bay collage or the tuart collage waiting to hear from both. She is at college now doing child care but doesn't like it her passion is for make up so might send her to beauty school LOL. I just don't know what to do for the best x

Hi Can anyone tell me about school charges on a 457 visa please. I'm reading a few different things about it. If our visa is issued before 2015 do we have to pay?? If we to be the charged is $4000 then $2000 for second child. Feeling confused ( doesn't take much) :-) Thanks x
